Well, it's official now. U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf has ordered that there is no freedom of religion in Massachusetts. And I always thought the death-knell for freedom of religion would come from CA or NY.
The judge has ORDERED that all people in the state absolutely and unconditionally accept and approve of homosexuals. You are simply not permitted to have any religion or hold any opinion in opposition to gay. In his decision, he actually agreed that the right to religion is not as important as accepting gays. Oh, and if you don't like it, you aren't even permitted to remove your own children from an environment that forces you to accept gays. You're simply not permitted to disagree with them at all.
And yes, you WILL go to jail if you dare to disagree. Don't think so? Ask David Parker.

"There simply is no freedom left in America today."
You got that right and the unaware who have steadfastly conferred their personal responsibilities onto an uncaring government also consistently keep voting in the same perpetrators. I suppose they FEEL better to be a drone with no thoughts other than what they are told to think. No wonder so many are so against wars against despots... How are we as a nation any different?
You know, I could care less what gays do in their PRIVATE LIVES. There have been and always will be gays in the world. What bothers me is the fact that they FEEL they must FORCE their lifestyles on me and FORCE me to accept something that goes against MY OWN NATURE... in short they FORCE me to acknowledge their PRIVATE LIVES, while telling me I have no right to mine? I also wonder how they will reconcile this with the religion of Islam which is also being pushed. You know homosexuality is punishable by death under the Muslim religion, right?
Doing the right thing is the hardest thing in the world to do when there is such pressure to "go with the flow." I've had to do it in my personal life more times than I can count, usually to my detriment. I can only hope that in the next life the fact that I've tried to do what's right, no matter what, will be in my favor as nothing in this life has.

You're so right in so many ways. Yes, government has become utopia for many -- you don't have to take responsibility for ANYTHING, because the government will take responsibility for everything for you -- whether you want them to or not. That's tyranny, even if it's voted in by the majority.

You know, I wouldn't be so sure in this case it is the gay people 'forcing' their lifestyle on you as it is the 'straight-guilt' crowd. These people are the same people that are members of the white-guilt, American-guilt, Christian-guilt, and human being-guilt crowd.
My 6 and 7 year olds are aware of homosexuality because of family members and friends that are gay. It is not thrown in their face or discussed at length, they just understand that it exists. When they started asking questions, I told them the very, very basics. With that said, it was a personal decision on my part, not the school's or governments. Denial doesn't make it disappear.
In all reality, this is something parents should teach their children, but 98% wouldn't.... I don't think ANY sex ed should be taught in schools without the parents written consent after seeing an outline of the classes content.

Let me explain the first sentence in the last paragraph....
'this' = sex-ed, not necessarily homosexuality.

In this case, it is the gays who want to force everyone to accept them. These gays don't want to permit anyone to even disapprove of them at all! And it absolutely should be the choice of the parent as to when, how, and if their children will find out about such things. For a judge to say that mandated gay acceptance is more important than freedom of speech or religion is just horrible.

I'll find others as well. What I've found so far only talk about the actions of those unions in nature, nothing of the consequences of it. I've seen a few instances of it myself in nature but the consequences were those animals so engaged were shunned by others of the same species.
Yeah, yeah, I know proponents of such rights will say as higher animals we should do better by acknowledging their nature while, of course, denying us of our nature to repudiate it and so on and so on and...

Sometimes blog scripts leave a lot to be desired. I could use a wysiwyg for comments right now to make some specialized emphases. I think most of them allow very few html tags.

I'm not even arguing about homosexuality in this post -- I'm simply pointing out that the homosexual activists DESPISE freedom. They do not want to allow me freedom of thought. They do not want to allow things like your link points to -- those thoughts should be illegal, according to them. And that's just plain wrong.

You're right. There's no point arguing it. I was just thinking if you knew any of the people involved in the case you might forward them that link.

Well, you know, I believe in science and science has done some wonderful things but science is just that... science. It doesn't make PEOPLE any better or worse because they can always, always find a way to try to pervert it for their own uses and agendas.

The nice thing about science is that you don't have to believe in it -- it still is.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
