Pledge to Support the War

Now I'll be the first one to admit that Bush has problems. He's caving in to Democrats left and right. He's spending way, way, way too much money. He's approving to way too many stupid regulations. He's expanding government like never before. He has no clue about American sovereignty and couldn't find the southern border of America with a south Texas guide.

But on Iraq, he's got the right idea, almost. The ONLY way to slow terrorism in Iraq is to kill the bastards. I'm sorry, but that's the only way. If you truly want to stop terrorism, you need to drop bombs, kill people, and break things until there is no such thing as state-sponsored religion. It really is that simple.

And now the Democrats are threatening all sorts of "maneuvers" to remove funding from the troops and completely undermine the actions of the troops. The only thing Bush has actually stood firm on is his resolve to finish the battle in Iraq -- and the Congress is actively working hard against him.

Now while the Democrats continue their attack on the troops, the Republicans in Congress should stand united against them. It doesn't look like they will. So NZ Bear has put together a pledge that is gathering signatures of people who will pledge to NOT support Republicans who actively work with Democrats against the troops (Hagel). If you're interested go check it out and sign it if you like. I don't know if any Republican Senators will read it, but they might...

1 I been to Iraq, 3 little areas the problem, the press will not tell the truth, and the Demo want Prez Bush to fail, so they can get there power back, I support the War on Terror, to keep it over there, fight them here or fight them there. The Demo's crates hate liberty, winning wars, and our Replublic, because they do not hold all the power and money.

2 That's so true -- I'd rather fight them there than here. But the Democrats don't want to fight at all.

3 Still think Pan had the right idea on funding the war on terrorism, which was to have companies sponsor the warheads. Their logos could be placed on the warhead, size dependent on "donation." For substantial donations, a live streaming video could be attached showing "your" bomb being delivered. I wanted to take it one step further, to include private citizens as well. A family or community could probably come with up with enough to place an ad such as, "this one is for Jon Doe." Pan actually summitted his idea to the administration and only got a thank you back in reply. Of course, they had no idea who he was....

4 I love that idea. Heck, even if it cost thousands, I bet you'd have sponsored lined up out the door!

5 I'm neither Rep or Dem. I will say the Dem's are wrong here. we have a choice in this fight right now, the way I see it. We can fight them here or there. If we leave there... they will follow us home.

we need a foot in the middle east. If we could really win this thing, Iraq is a good place to start. And we need to be there forever... not leave. we need a base there like in S. Korea. We need a permanent presence.

But... the public doesn't want to hear that.

6 The Dems are today's torries. Maybe I should write a post about that...

7 The Democrates just want there power back in 2008, they want prez bush to fail, prez bush is doing the right thing, im behind him all the way. the 60's democrate liberals dont care about our soliders. Just like the bull shit golbal warning, back in the 70's we where going to have a ice age in the 90's, if we did not destroyed our corporations and industries.
The Demo Liberal want a level playing field between EURO weenies and our country becuase we have a lower tax rate and make more money than they do.

8 You're correct -- that is the only goal of DEmocrats -- to obtain power, no matter how. They will literally say or do anything to get power over people -- and that's disgusting.
