The Face of the National Guard

So, have you heard the latest news about America and it's "mighty military?" Fox News had a very brief blurb about it, Euphoric Reality had a bit more, and Cathouse Chat is outraged. If you're not sure what this is about, refer to the picture here in this post.

Now I'm sure some of you good readers will interpret this to mean that I don't like the military or that I'm insulting the military or something like that. I'm sorry, but if you think that, you're rather uninformed. This is not a reflection on any member of the military, but on the people who give the orders to those in the military uniform.

Is there any reason to even give our soldiers guns today? After all, the policy at the southern border of this country is to run from anyone else who might be armed. So why do we even HAVE a border patrol or national guard on the border? It's certainly NOT to actually secure the border. After all, if you are a member of the border patrol and actually shoot back when drug smugglers try to KILL you, you get thrown in jail!

So now we have some "unknown" number of armed thugs entering this country from a foreign country and confronting our armed military members. Our response? Run away and hide. Apparently we have become the French.

If we had a leader with any guts at ALL, he order the full-time US Military to the southern border to protect our country from a current, active invasion. And if ANYONE entered the country armed and shooting, we'd have order to kill and destroy every single one of them. But to do that, we'd have to have at least a little interest in national sovereignty -- which our leaders clearly do not have.

America, as a country, does not exist to our leaders. The only hope for America today is it's citizens. I hope you're armed and have a lot of ammo because the leaders of the US Military aren't interested in protecting you against any enemies, foreign or domestic.

1 The PC BS will end up getting a lot of people killed including the PC crowd.

I agree, a good number of Weapons and Ammo and learn how to use them. The only difference in killing a human and a deer is you don't necessarly have to gut and skin the human.

Why even have them there? After crap like this, it definitely isn't for the intimidation factor. They know that our boys won't fight back... they can't fight back, sorry.

4 No, there is no reason for them to be there. Actually, it's not safe for them to be there -- they are not allowed even to defend themselves, so they are literally sitting ducks. But I think that's the point of the government leadership in this country today.
