New NC Democrat Tax Increase

Gee, what a surprise, eh? Democrats vote to raise taxes in North Carolina. Well, as the king supreme leader head of the county commission in Mecklenburg says, "That's what we're supposed to do -- tax and spend" and "I make no apology for raising taxes."

This one is a tax on boats that's about to go into effect. It claims that it just requires a title on all personal watercraft. It was sold as a safety issue. You see, they claimed that this was to ensure they could recover stolen boats. But, of course, there's a $20 tax that has to be paid to title your boat. So once again, it's nothing more than a tax increase, presented to you by the Democrats in the NC Legislature.
