Enforce the Law? Go to Jail!
This absolutely stinks. You may remember reading here about the border patrol agents that were put on trial for, literally, chasing after a felonious drug dealer who had crossed the US-Mexico border illegally. Well, they've been sentenced -- 11 and 12 years in prison for DARING to attempt to enforce the border. What a pile of you-know-what. Every border patrol agent in the country should get up tomorrow and walk off the job.
But they won't. Know why? Because since they will go to jail for actually enforcing the law, they cannot enforce the law. So what will they do? Anything else they want to -- and we will still pay them. Wanted: Border Patrol agents to sit around and do nothing. Government job, benefits, and pay. Tell me again how I'm supposed to have hope for this country. If we had a leader with any guts, he'd stand up and pardon these two, then fire the people in the border patrol (they work for him) that started this crap. There is no justice in America, and there ARE NO BORDERS. America is indeed gone.

And right, PoliticalCritic -- neither political party has ANY interest in having a southern border at all.
