Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, a democrat, today defended Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's United Nations speech in which Chavez called President George Bush the devil.

Nicely done, Mr. Harkin. Thank you for making the Democrat Party's position clear: they hate freedom, they love Chavez. This year's Democrat election slogan:

A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Chavez.

We Heart Chavez and all other dictators

Or as Dagney points out, at least the Democrat is being honest.
