Hiding Drugs Okay
If you're a drug dealer, today is a good day for you. The North Carolina court of appeals has ruled that it's okay to hide drugs under your balls because police aren't allowed to search for drugs there, even if you're a convicted drug dealer in a known drug area acting nervous because you're dealing and carrying drugs.
Yes, the court actually ruled it was unreasonable to look down a man's pants for drugs, even when that man has given consent to a search and has numerous prior convictions for dealing drugs (and yet is still on the street). I think this also illustrates the complete and utter failure of the war on drugs. How many thousands of taxpayer dollars were spent on this case? How much money was spent by the taxpayer on police salaries, court costs, jail costs, and public defender costs on this ONE case, which has now been ruled completely useless? But don't worry -- the case might be appealed, in which case we can spend even MORE taxpayer money on this case! Folks, we've lost the war. It's time to surrender. The war on drugs is a waste of time and money. If people want to kill themselves with drugs, GOVERNMENT has no role in stopping them. If people do other illegal things while under the influence of drugs, certainly, punish them. Otherwise, stop wasting my time and money!

Knowing where these drugs are coming from now is enough to make anyone quit.
Sounds like the war on drugs is getting desperate.
