Congressional Candidates in Charlotte

Hey, if you're in the Charlotte area, I just now found out that Robin Hayes and Larry Kissell will be at the University City YMCA at 11:00 this morning. I'm going to try and make it down there for it, but I'm not sure I'll make it. If you're around, head on over and see one of the very, very few actual election races for U.S. House this year.

1 Many thanks for the reply on my blog, but it is VITAL that you and everyone (I mean EVERYONE) you know send an email as set out there, including copying it to Lindsay himself along with the others listed, by not later than Sunday September 3rd. In these ant-Blair, ant-Bush days, the local Labour Party (it's an ultra-safe seat) is moving -- in the WRONG direction! But it can still be stopped. SPREAD THE WORD.

I was hoping Vernon Robinson would have some more appearences here in the Raleigh area. He has to beat Brad Miller. Should be interesting, since Vernon is Black.
