Democrats to pay Reparations
Well, that's not quite what the N.C. Panel has decided, but it is the only logical conclusion that can be drawn from their royal proclamation.
The panel did decide that North Carolina should "pay" for an 1898 race riot that was started by white Democrats in which the white Democrats ran over 2,000 Republicans and blacks out of Wilmington, NC. These riots by white Democrats appear to have killed 60 as many as 60 blacks and cost "billions of dollars" in economic losses. These white Democrats are reportedly the source of the only coup d'etat in America. So, being Democrats, the panel of course concluded that they were not at fault, but that the state should pay billions in reparations. If that's the case, then the reparations should go only to blacks and Republicans because the riots were perpetrated by white Democrats. In addition, since white Democrats were the ones who rioted and killed and ran blacks and Republicans out of the city, I think that only white Democrats should have to pay the reparations. State Representative Thomas Wright, a BLACK Democrat plans to file a bill for reparations next year. Since he will potentially gain cash from this for the color of his skin, I'm not sure how he can even vote on such a bill -- oh wait, this is the North Carolina General Assembly, where ethics don't exist. I want to know why Thomas Wright, an obvious descendant of the DEMOCRATS who initiated the riot, feels like he should be compensated when I, a white Republican, who is clearly a descendant of a victim of the riot, should not.

I think I will have to write to Black and let him know where to send my check. I'm white and republican, so, gimmee gimmee gimmee. Doesn't matter whether or not my family was even in the country at the time (wasn't) nor ever lived in NC (didn't, just me).

You ARE entitled, or so they claim. I wonder if we can file for our free cash online or if we have to do it in person.

I'd be happy to wander down to State House and fill out the form for you. I say form, because if there is more then one to file, I will sue them, claiming they are violating my Civil Rights in an attempt to get me to not file.
I do believe I read to much over in Liberal World.

I'm pretty sure they're violating your civil rights if they don't just come and hand you and I a check. I'll put a call into Thomas Wright's office and ask when he's delivering both our checks.
