Forced Annexation in Pfafftown

Forced annexation is the law in North Carolina. Any city, any town in North Carolina can literally take any land they want that's not already part of another town and claim it as their own. The only have to stop at the state line and the people who are annexed have literally no say in the matter.

The people of Pfafftown are complaining that it's not fair and that they're not getting what they're going to have to pay. Well, that's the Democrat-run North Carolina State government for you -- they aren't interested in fair, just in getting more money.

I know exactly of the situation they are in. A long time ago I lived in Charlotte. After all the houses were built, the city decided they wanted to annex the land. My taxes went up by about $5,000.00. What did I get for that money? I got my trash picked up one less day a week -- and literally that's all. I received no additional or new services at all -- just worse trash pickup. That's one big reason I don't live in Charlotte any more.

Many of the people of Pfafftown are complaining because they're senior citizens on fixed incomes who cannot pay the new, higher taxes. But again, the Democrat-run government doesn't care -- they want more money and they literally don't care how they get it. If you like freedom, North Carolina is not a place you will find to your liking.
