Bush Immigration Speech
If the speech writers at the White House need a hand on some last minute details for the President's speech tonight, here's a few lines he SHOULD use:
1. "I will build a wall, fence, and use any means at my disposal to stop the flow of illegals crossing the border to our sovereign nation, and any other nation's leader who doesn't like that can kiss my rear -- it's our damn country, not yours." 2. "America is a nation of laws. If you break the laws of America, you will have to pay the punishment. Everyone who entered this country from any other country without following the rules IS a criminal, no matter the reason you entered. We will find you and we will punish you." 3. "American governments and corporations who are aiding these criminals, take note: you are aiding criminals. You will be punished as well. Any government that gives any money to any non-citizens will receive no additional funds from the federal government. If a local or state government wants to give away money to illegals, you go ahead -- but the federal government will not participate." 4. "To those who claim we cannot deport 12 million, I say, 'Yes we can.'" Unfortunately, as Vox Day notices, the following phrases will more likely be uttered over and over again: "Jobs Americans won't do" "Nation of immigrants" "Compassionate" "This is not amnesty" I am not completely sure yet what to make of the rumor he will deploy the National Guard on the border. I imagine this is a political move. Something to note about the National Guard -- National Guard units are available to the governor of the state or the president. However, whoever calls them first gets to control them. So if the governor of Arizona calls his up to patrol the border, the president doesn't get any say in their actions. If the president calls them up first, he gets to deploy them. If I were the governor of any border state, I'd call them up before the president gets a chance to. With the current administration's work on border enforcement, he'd likely have them patrolling the NORTHERN borders of Arizona and New Mexico... Michelle Malkin agrees with the idea that the National Guard usage is politics and not enforcement.

You would make a great speech writer! I'm sick of hearing the "jobs americans won't do" crap. It is simply jobs americans won't do at such low wages. Sorry, I'm american, and there are few jobs I won't do!

If there's jobs Americans won't do, let those jobs go undone. Who the *&@#&$ did the jobs before the invasion of illegals seeking free money?

What? How DARE you! You actually believe that America is BETTER than other countries? Amazing. Of course, you're right, but a large number of people are "offended" that you're right -- even though those immigrants only seem to be going one direction.

Ok what I don't understand or have been able to find is a list of the "jobs americans won't do". I mean what are these jobs that are so underneath americans that they won't do them and what is the pay these criminals are getting for doing these so called "underneath" us jobs?
I can guardamntee I worked through college for less of a wage than what those criminals are. Does anyone remember that the minimum wage use to be $3.35/hour? That's three freaking dollars and 35 cents per hour worked.
They can all kiss my ass, I am so tired of hearing about this shit.

Hotel cleaning and lettuce picking seem to be high on that alleged list.
I, too, am really sick of that line. It's VERY insulting to me, personally. Heck, I'm so offended, I think I'm entitled to burn something -- at least then someone might pay some attention to me. If I get an organization together and claim I'm peaceful, but still burn things because I'm offended, maybe that will create more jobs that "Americans won't do."
I don't think I'll be able to watch tonight because I know I'll be throwing things WHEN he says that damn line.
