NC 2004 Elections Over

No, really. The last contest for the 2004 election in North Carolina has finally ended -- and you thought the recounts were bad in Florida.

Those who have been reading this blog for a LONG time may remember the various, massive problems with elections in NC in 2004. The legislature decided to count votes that were clearly unconstitutional (allowing people to vote in ANY precinct) and the Board of Elections (D) agreed. This prompted various lawsuits and challenges.

As of Friday, the last of these challenges was decided -- in favor of obeying the legislature and NOT the Constitution. Once again we learn that to the Democrats who run North Carolina, THEY are the supreme power, NOT the Constitution.
