Democrat Delays Day #1
As I predicted. I mentioned previously that the Democrats had ONE plan, one course of action regarding Judge Alito: DELAY. One day later, the Democrats put their plan in action with their closed session and misdirection.
The doublespeak used by the Democrats has reached epic proportions.We know that there were no [weapons of mass destruction] now in Iraq. We didn't know it at the time. We know now that we didn't know at the time that there was no Al Qaeda connection. We know now that we didn't know then that there was no 9/11 connection. We know now that they had no plan for winning the peace. We didn't know that at the time
Of course, none of that statement is true at all. This is called delaying in the first degree. ANYTHING to derail or slow the actual discussion of confirming Alito to the Supreme Court. Just watch -- it will continue.

you'd think they'd change it from "delay" to "democrats rule the world" just to keep from associating themselves with anything sounding like Tom Delay.

I am trying to figure out where the connection is between their delay and Mr. Delay (and Mr. Daily). I know it's there somewhere...
