NewSpeak: Savings
According to the all-knowing government spokesman Earl Taylor of Onslow County Schools:
Paying an employee $14,733.16 per month instead of $8,394.00 per month is a "savings to the local, state and or federal governments." From the news story:Taylor did not elaborate on how much it saves. And despite multiple requests, Taylor did not provide any numeric breakdown to illustrate precisely how it saves the taxpayers' money.
They are government. They are smart. Do not speak against them because you are dumb.

Did they take away benefits? Because if they took away benefits and are paying the guy more, they may actually be saving money.
