Moronic Courts can't stop People
If you keep up with information about immigration, you may remember the story from earlier this year about the NH Police Chief who charged illegal immigrants with trespassing. The courts ruled that the state government could not enforce immigration laws, and the federal government refuses to enforce them.
But that didn't stop Now this might work, at first, but there could be horrible side effects -- so I hope the laws get put in place. If the police chief is successful, the businesses in his area will stop hiring illegals. Then the illegals will either have to move somewhere else -- or go on welfare. As long as you get laws in place to ensure that non-working lawbreaking people who are illegally in this country don't get my hard-earned money via welfare, this will work great. On a related note, North Carolina also has this law and the police chief in Charlotte (a "world class city") steadfastly refuses to arrest or harass any illegal alien for anything short of a first-degree felony, and he very widely publicizes this fact.
