Apology To My Seagoing Bretheren

In the past I have made references to Obama ans Congress "spending like drunken sailors". It seems that some retired Swabbies have taken offense to this reverence, and I have to admit that they make a valid point:

All Hands hear this!
From: Retired U.S Navy Personnel

To: The American Public

We in retirement take exception to everyone saying that Bernanke, Obama, Reid and Pelosi are spending like drunken sailors.

Not True.

When we were drunken sailors, we quit when we ran out of money.

I extend my heartfelt apology for equating the two stereotypes together.
