Quote of the Day
“Barack Obama is not an idiot. He is a brilliant orator who exudes charm and arouses near-worship from his host of giddy, hypnotized supporters. He is also a committed socialist and a talented salesman for his brand of Marxist snake oil. Beware of camels bearing gifts, and politicians promising utopia.” —Michael Reagan
In the 1930's there was another Socialist gifted with the power of great oratory, that swayed the emotions of his fellow citizens, promising Utopia, and leading them to follow him to the gates of HELL itself :

I find the lack of real education on the Nazi period in American public education to be nothing short of criminal. We are setting ourselves up to repeat the tragedy here.
I came from a country that experienced the tragedy that was Naziism in spades; my own grandfather was sympathetic to the Nazi ideals, so don't EVEN try to tell me what Hitler was or wasn't. My family lived it and passed on the warnings so that NEVER AGAIN would it arise without a fight.
Both Obama AND Hillary are socialist in their views. "we will take from you for the common good" ring a bell? McCain isn't much better, but at least he would advance that agenda at a slower pace than either of the two "Progressive" would be candidates.
As to those "Hitler connections"..the same could be said of Lindburg, Ford, Rockefeller and a great number of other industrialists of the era. I suppose we should brand all those as Nazi fellow travelers as well.

EVERYTHING was done in the name of and done only by the will/control of the State. and all Socialist/Communist states end up being dictatorships, so that assertion is a straw man that shows that you really don't have a grasp of the history of every such state.
It's true that the Nazi state treated the Poles, Russians and all the other Eastern European residents initially worse than the Jews; this was because the Slavic peoples were considered as Sub-human; to be exterminated just like the Jews were, but the Jews were already under control in the German state at the time, so it was less urgent to exterminate them at the time.
Like I said Karlo, my family LIVED it, breathed it, some died under it, and in one case assisted in it; DON'T tell me what some ivory tower socialist professor claims from the perspective of dry theory, I come from a grounding in PRACTICAL experience albeit second-hand in my personal case.

Nazi's were Socialists under the definitions of the time and under the current definitions if you look at the actual results of their policies and not just the dry definitions of current academics.
And no, they didn't go after German Socialists, they went after German Communists, as they were considered collaborators with the Slavic communists, and thus anti-Aryan. You are ascribing current labels to past events and they DON'T necassarily apply. The move into Poland was for land that Hitler considered essential to the German State's future, and the fact it was occupied by Slavic people just made it more just to take, since such peoples were obviousley inferior and subject to the will of the Aryan race. You must remember that Nazi's considered themselves the forerunners of the master race on Earth, and anything they did was justified by that belief, all other peoples were merely servants to that race at best.

1. Using Poor Form and Technique
Far too many people use bad kind and technique when weight lifting, and it's a common cause of injury. People perform their reps at a fast speed using much more momentum than muscle power. People heave, swing, or bounce the weight rather than lifting it.
Bad form and method often occurs when someone is using a weight that's too heavy for them to lift properly. Use a weight that challenges you, but that's not so heavy that your form and technique get sloppy. Use muscle energy, not momentum, to elevate the weight. Don't heave, swing, or bounce the bodyweight. Lift and lower the weight within a steady and controlled manner while concentrating on feeling the muscle that you're working (this is known as the mind-muscle connection).
3. Not Warming Up
You need to take time to properly warm up before strength training. Warming up will stimulate blood circulation to your muscles, increase your joint flexibility and mobility, and get you mentally prepared for your workout, all of which helps in avoiding injury. Warm up by doing a couple of minutes of light aerobic exercise and one or two light sets of each strength training exercise before using heavier weights.
3. Overtraining
Training all too often saps your energy and reduces both your muscle's and nervous system's capability to recuperate from your strength training workouts. If you're within a depleted, weakened Recumbent Exercise Bike state through overtraining, your risk associated with injury increases. You also need to realize that muscles avoid grow during training, they grow after training. Lifting weights causes microscopic tears within the muscles, and rest days enable the muscles to repair on their own, grow, and get stronger.
Training too often and never giving your muscles enough time to recover from training not only increases your risk associated with injury, it also causes muscle growth and strength increases in the future to a halt.
three. Not Listening to Your system
When lifting weights, you need to work out with a lot of intensity if you want to build muscle and increase strength. But if your exhausted and lacking energy prior to a particular weight lifting exercise, you may need to ease up on the intensity for the particular workout, or even consider no longer working out at all that day. Pushing yourself too hard when you're tired and also lacking energy increases your own risk of injury.
5. Lack of Concentration
If you are distracted, preoccupied or lackadaisical when strength training, especially when performing free weight exercises like barbell squats or dumbbell shoulder presses, you're inviting injury.
6. Bad Nutrition
Weight training and proper nutrition go hand in hand. Proper nutrition provides you with the energy you need for the weight training workouts. Without proper nutrition, you'll maintain a depleted, weakened state, and your risk of injury increases. Proper nutrition is not only necessary to fuel your workouts, it's also necessary to help you recover from your workout routines.
As you can see, avoiding weight lifting injuries is not really difficult. Just follow these guidelines and your weight training workouts will be productive and injury free of charge.
