"Cute" Is Just A Disguise

I've said before that Ladybugs creep me out. In the spirit of "know thy enemy", I found this page with all kinds of information and pictures about ladybugs. *shudder*

Lots of info there, although some of the links seem to have expired.

2 There are ladybugs, and then there are bugs that look like ladybugs. Beware the ones that really aren't. They're lousy bastards that bite and leave nasty welts.

Otherwise, they're really cute. How can you be afraid of ladybugs? *blinks cutely at you*

3 I'm not afraid of them, because they're so small. But I know that they're among the most vicious predators in the insect world, and voracious as well. If they were bigger, we'd be prey.
