There are times in this life where you must let compassion take a back seat to moral indignation and righteous vengance. Let the US military unleash all its might and firepower on any who give aid or comfort to The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah.
Right: A photo of Cpl. Jeffery A. Boskovitch and Sgt. David Coullard--both KIA by the Army of Ansar al-Sunnah Wednesday. A video was released by The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah showing the effects of the attack. The video may be downloaded here (see August 4th entry). Graphic and disgusting images from the video below show the body of Jeffrey A. Boskovitch, a terrorist from the Army of Ansar al-Sunnah removing his dog tags, and his dog tags.
Today, the US military unleashed Operation Quick Strike in the area where 14 Marines were killed on Wednesday. AP (via Polipundit):
About 1,000 U.S. Marines and Iraqi soldiers have launched a major operation in western Iraq to disrupt insurgents and foreign fighters in the Euphrates River valley, the U.S. military said Friday.
The operation, dubbed Quick Strike, began Wednesday with Iraqi soldiers and Marines positioning their units, said a military statement. They are focused on an area centered on the cities of Haditha, Haqlaniyah and Parwana, about 140 miles northwest of Baghdad....
On Friday, about 800 U.S. Marines and sailors and 180 Iraqi troops, including Special Operations forces, moved into the city of Haqlaniyah, the Marine statement said. U.S. jets attacked insurgents hiding in buildings outside the town.
Residents in the area said U.S. and Iraqi forces had cordoned off Haqlaniyah and were conducting house-to-house searches. U.S. warplanes circled overhead and a number of heavy explosions were heard. Witnesses said 500-pound bombs were being dropped in the area.
In a statement issued Friday, the U.S. military said an Abrams tank fired at rebels armed with Kalashnikov rifles and rocket-propelled grenades south of Haqlaniyah while other U.S. tanks fired on a building where insurgents were shooting at coalition forces.
Two buildings were destroyed after Marines found them rigged with explosives.
"Wires were connected to numerous 155 mm artillery rounds scattered throughout both buildings," the U.S. statement said.
The U.S. military has defended its operations in western Iraq, insisting it is reducing insurgent attacks, despite the deaths of the 14 Marines. The extremist Ansar al-Sunnah Army claimed responsibility in a Web posting and said its fighters used two bombs to destroy the vehicle.
Graphic images below. Do not look at them unless you wish to see the true face of the enemy we fight. Look at the face of a dead Marine, killed by the cowards who hide among women and children for fear of detection.

BELOW: While the Islamic terrorists we fight routinely accuse the US of violating the Geneva conventions, the Army of Ansar al-Sunnah, contrary to the Geneva conventions, shows the body of Marine Cpl. JeffreyA. Boskovitch in a propaganda video designed to demoralize US troops and bolster the claims of the insurgency that they are winning. If anything, these images, if the US media were brave enough to show them, would kindle the anger of the American public.
BELOW: A terrorist removes Cpl. Boskovitch's dog tags. The terrorist, in violation of the Geneva conventions, is not wearing a uniform. Cpl. Boskovitch is. Let us hope the swift hand of justice touches this terrorist scumbag in the back of the head with a snipers bullet.
BELOW: In their propaganda video (download here, see Aug. 4th entry) The Army of Ansar al Sunnah parades its trophies, including Cpl. Boskovitch's dog tags. Today, US forces unleashed Operation Quick Strike to seek out and destroy the al Qaeda linked Army of Ansar al-Sunnah. The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah is thought to be made up of remnants of The Army of Ansar al-Islam, once led by Al Qaeda in Iraq's Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The group operates around the fringes of Kurdistan and may be made up of Islamist Kurds, opposed to the secularism of the two major Kurdish partisan groups in Iraq's north, and of Islamst Arabs who wish to set up a Taliban like state in Iraq.
Let loose the Dogs of War! B-1, B-2, and B-52 squadrons should make a wasteland of Haditha. We should warn the rest of the Sunni Triangle that this is how each and every one of your cities and towns will look like if you continue to aid the terrorist insurgency.

I'm just about there as well. I don't like to see civilians killed in war, but if these savages hide in towns, then waste the towns. Make it clear to the Sunni that harboring the bad guys is going to cost you dearly. And I don't really think the Shia or the Kurds would give a damn.

I'm about ready to go myself, but they probably wouldn't want my out of shape butt. However, I think we need to take drastic action and ramp up the operations in an attempt to get these guys and their allies in Syria.
Speaking of which, it should be made very clear to the Syrians that it would be in their interest to stop the infiltration. The news that shaped explosives manufactured in Iran are being sent into Iraq is another troubling development.
I suppose all the radical buggers want to climb onto the ship of fools now traveling through Iraq. We just need to sink it.

Send a cruse missile to visit a military target in Syria every time we have a murder like this.
We should only consider a change in the cruse missile policy if Syria comes to us and asks what they can do to help seal the boarder and stop the attacks. We are letting these tin horn Arab states kill with impunity.

It's good to be back. I may not post as often for a while. I'm in the process of writing a book on the anomalies of the 9-11 attack with a dozen or so other academics and research scientists from around the nation.
Soon you will know my true identity.

Those images don't work at demoralizing the warriors, Rusty - it just makes us review our Primary Marksmanship Instruction.

Interesting survey just taken in England. 52% of British citizens of middle eastern background claims to be muslims first and British citizens 2nd.
26% say they really don't care what happens to the future of the English nation.
Only mass deportations will save England. When will they wake up? Close to two million potential terrorists in their little country. Is it too late to save England? France? Germany? Is this the reason they bow to Iran's nuclear plans? Doesn't Europe understand that the west is at war with Islam?

I'm not sure I agree that showing these images on MSM would kindle American anger. I think the left would use the footage to say this fight isn't worth "this." I also hate to say this, but we are a country desensitized with images of violence. Nothing seems real to us.
The MSM knows also that the families of the soldiers who die would be appalled at the image of their loved on on TV.
That being said, we do know have THIS...the blogosphere! Those of us interested enough get the story and then move the story. That is why I am glad you posted this. It helps us all to understand the enemy we fight and know that it is a good fight.

I think greg also posts here http://www.saintsreport.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=168992 His writing style, where he lives (Texas), and the fact he linked back to this page leads one to believe greg and blackadder are one in the same.

The man in the picture beside Jeff Boskovich is my Nephew, David. Yes, pictures like this would anger our fellow Americans, but what about the families of the fallen soldiers? Haven't they gone through even pain already? Let's face it; we are dealing with barbaric animals, period.

Jeff Boskovitch in the pictures above is a friend of mine. It hurts to see these pictures displayed like this. The beauty of a human being fighting for what is right and decent, does not deserve the pain and humiliation that these people have placed him through. My heart goes to his family and friends. Prayers are with him, and my only hope is that America as well as our soldiers begin to believe in this country, the fight we are fighting and the true reality that may be brought into your lives. We never know if that fallen hero, is your brother, friend, neighbor, teacher or stranger on the street. Whomever it may be, they are fighting for YOU> WE only have control over one thing in life, and that is ourselves. We cannot control the actions these Iraqi men make, or that of our government or fellow Americans, but the way we react to these images and desolate situations are the choices and actions we choose to make. Make the right choice and pray for our Country and for the choices others will choose to make.

I did not know Cpl. Boskovitch but I did know the Marine in the picture with him, Sgt David Coullard, a long-time friend. It sickens me to the core that these insurgents can so calmly and nonchalently degrade and dehumanize human life in the way that they do. I hope to God that those responsible for taking the lives of these brave soldiers were made to suffer in the same agonizing way and have already met their demise...they wrecked and ravaged the lives of those they took and no God or Allah or whatever higher power one believes in could possibly praise the sick and demented beliefs they have. To those Marines who continue the fight, know that we are behind you 100% for what you do to keep our country free from this type of savagery. SEMPER FI TO OUR AMERICAN HEROES.

Sgt David Coullard was one of my close friends growing up. Dave was one of the most good hearted, strong willed guys you could meet. I sure hope my friend didn't die for oil. It really hits home when it is someone that you are close to, as I wrote to President Bush. He had no answer. May God bless Dave and all other soldiers for fighting for our country. These animals need to be taken care of quickly and swiftly with no compassion. They are here in America as well. I was sitting on my porch a month ago and a man was walking by yelling>>>>>>>> I hate America, I'm Sorry.......I Am From Iraq. He yelled this over and over all the way down the street. He's lucky I didn't kick the shit out of him. I would probably say that I was somewhat shocked by this. A week later I saw him walking around hunched over with his hands clinched together behind his back. Take a look at what recently, has happened with Saddam. He is now being humanized by the media. He likes Doritos, gives good marriage advice, etc. This is a bunch of BS. Why would our "liberal media" humanize this animal? Why would they go and try to give him a face. Make him a human being as we all are when he is not. This does nothing but allow for him to live. My oppinion is we drop a nuke and level the place. I don't see much support there. It seems like the majority aren't even thankful for our help. As we all know though, oppinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
