Megumi Hayashibara

From Ranma in Ranma ½ to Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop, from Lina Inverse in The Slayers to Lime in Saber Marionette J, by way of Momiji in Blue Seed and Pai in 3 x 3 Eyes, Megumi Hayashibara is without doubt my favourite anime voice actress (or seiyuu).

1 Don't forget her latest ueberbutch role, Megumi from Tenshi na Konimaiki. The role might very well have been written for her, if it wasn't based on a manga.

Hrm. She's putting out a collection of these? I'm not a seiyu fan, really, but... hrm.

2 Tenshi na Konimaiki? I started watching it, but I was turned off by the character designs. Didn't even realise it was Megu-chan! Some fan I am...

The book of Megumi-Toons is only available in Japanese, I believe. These are fan-translated.

4 You might find the Oracle interesting. It's the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon thing, only it works for any pair of actors/actresses.

5 It should also be noted that Azumanga Daioh, the manga has been released by ADV Manga (the first 2 volumes out of 4). ADV will also soon release the anime.
