Just As I Thought

My modem didn't love me anymore.

I installed the helpful D-Link DSL-300 Configuration Utility to see what was going on. When asked to detect my modem, the helpful D-Link DSL-300 Configuration Utility helpfully said:

What modem?
Important note: The D-Link DSL-300 DSL Modem does not have a factory reset feature. So if you screw it up, you've screwed it up permanently. (Also note: The manual for the D-Link DSL-300 DSL Modem is useless.)

I don't know if the D-Link DSL-302G is really any better, except for two points:

1. It does have a factory reset feature.
2. I haven't screwed it up yet.

Yay.

Now I just have to get it to talk to my router. Router: What modem?
